Every Shirt Feeds a Cat

Every black cat deserves a fighting chance.

We make shirts. We feed rescue cats. And we're trying to change how the world sees the last ones chosen.

74% - Euthanasia rate for black cats in shelters

10% - Adoption rate, lowest of any cat color

42 days - The average time a black cat waits to be adopted

Why it happens

Black cats are passed over because of superstition. Because they don't photograph well in shelter lighting. Because of a centuries-old story that was never true. Not because of anything they did.

They wait longest. They leave least. And when shelters run out of space, they're the first to go. Not because they're less loving, less loyal, or less worthy. Because somewhere along the way, the world decided their color meant something it doesn't.

Our Partner

Black Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run, all-breed cat rescue in Boston dedicated entirely to the cats most shelters overlook. They pull black cats from high-kill shelters, provide medical care, and find them the homes they deserve. Every cat in their care is there because someone decided their life was worth fighting for.

We chose them because they're doing the hard, unglamorous work - one cat at a time - and we wanted our shirts to mean something real.

How it works

01 -  You buy a tee.

Any tee. Every tee!

02 -  We make a donation to Black Cat Rescue.

For every shirt sold, a meal donation goes directly to Black Cat Rescue in Boston. No caps, no fine print. Simple as that.

03 - A rescue cat gets a loving meal.

Your donation feeds one cat in BCR's care. A cat that's waiting. A cat that's alive because someone decided not to look away.

"A black cat walked into our lives and rearranged everything. This is what came out the other side."

Now it's your turn. Every shirt feeds a rescue cat.
